Designing a content validated community needs assessment questionnaire for Barangays in Binangonan, Rizal: a psychometric study

Introduction: Needs assessment is essential before developing a community-based rehabilitation program to identify the factors that may affect quality of life (QOL) in community. However, no tools were readily accessible and directed toward this study's target population research locale. The study aims develop validate Community Assessment for Rehabilitation Enhancement (CARE), PRECEDE-PROCEED model-based questionnaire assesses needs barangays Binangonan, Rizal. Methods: items grounded on related literature using keywords Boolean operators across various databases. A purposive sampling method was utilized recruit panel experts evaluate CARE’s content validity. Content validity assessed by evaluating tool’s grammar, choice words, question construction, scoring items. researchers then analyzed data ratio (CVR) index (CVI). Results: After reviewing literature, generated 75 CARE, 55 which deemed appropriate based CVI. only one item had CVR result at least 0.99. Discussion: To further improve current status questionnaire, additional rounds Delphi, more experts, Filipino translation be done.
